VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS currently looking for Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsmen for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Nature of Work

● The hired person should be capable of producing high quality mechanical & minor
steel structural drawings in AutoCAD following standard, specifications
and instructions from engineers. He should be capable of producing
drawings as per site requirements or idea give by project engineers.
● General Arrangement drawing to be made in Auto Cad.
● Piping Isometrics to be made in Auto Plant Isometrics software
● Carry out site survey, taking measurements and produce ‘AS Built’, ‘for
Construction’, ‘PIDs’ and other relevant drawings as required by engineers.
All these drawings to be registered and transferred to selected server as per
Drafting procedures.
● All hard copy drawings available in Tiff Image to be updated electronically by GTX
Cad Plus in Auto cad base or other available soft wares.
● Assist in maintaining PMP files, common files, catalogues etc when ever required
● Assist if required during site execution jobs
● Search and retrieve drawings from Technical Document Management System
(TDMS) as well as from hard copy drawing archive.
● Work with JD Edward Enterprise (People Soft) System after in house training.

Scope of service

Drafting Services

To Produce and update mechanical engineering drawing such as,
• General Arrangement drawings
• Site Layouts
• Vessels/ Heat exchangers/ Pumps and other equipments details.
• Piping Isometrics & pipe supports.
• Prepare Bill of Materials.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5years project experience, preferably in fertilizer/ petrochemical plants in drafting activities.
• Computer literate well acquainted with office programs as MS word, Excel etc and very well versed in using AutoCAD, Micro Station and electronic documentation procedures.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• High awareness and knowledge on safety procedures in live plant.

Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Qatar.
